It is celebrated on January 6th and is the third and final festivity of the twelve days (The celebrations of Christ&#8217;s birth). The name was created by the appearance of three &#8220;faces&#8221; of the Holy Trinity. During the baptism of Jesus, God appeared in its threefold form and announced that Jesus is His Beloved Son. (Theophania = God has appeared on earth.)<br \/>\nIt is also called the Festival of Lights (<strong>Ton Foton<\/strong>). This is called the small blessing where one believes that any kind of bad energy (read: evil spirits) are sold.
